②Nagoya Port Sea Train Land
An amusement park with free admission (※ separate fees apply for each facility), including a Ferris wheel and more. There are 16 attractions suitable for adults and children alike. The popular “Digital ASOBU” interactive video attraction allows visitors to enjoy digital games. At night, you can enjoy the view of Nagoya Port from the illuminated Ferris wheel.
Free passes are also available, allowing unlimited use of attractions (some restrictions apply).

③Seaside promenade
The Seaside Promenade extends along the west and south sides of the Nagoya Port Aquarium, offering a walking path between the sea and the lawn. You can enjoy a leisurely stroll while overlooking Nagoya Port and feeling the sea breeze.

Benches and restrooms are installed along the path, allowing even those with limited physical strength to take breaks while walking.

④ Port of Nagoya Public Aquarium
Japan’s largest aquarium welcomes you with approximately 500 species and 50,000 creatures, including orcas, emperor penguins, sea turtles, and colorful tropical fish.

In the South Building, themed around “Journey to the Antarctic,” creatures living in five different aquatic zones along the route from Japan to Antarctica are introduced alongside their natural habitats, with the Antarctic observation ship “Fujisan” serving as a focal point.

The North Building features the theme “A Journey of 3.5 Billion Years: Animals Returning to the Sea,” showcasing animals like bottlenose dolphins and beluga whales.

The Main Pool, which accommodates approximately 3,000 spectators, offers performances to deepen understanding of ecology and behavior.

⑤Park
At the “Aquarium Southside Green Space,” located southward along the seaside promenade, you’ll find monuments commemorating the 100th anniversary of the opening of Nagoya Port, as well as statues of Nagoya Port’s mascot character “Portan.” On clear days, you can also enjoy beautiful sunsets from this area.
⑥Port Bridge
The pedestrian-only bridge, spanning 180 meters in length, connects the area around the Port Building to the direction of the Nagoya Port Aquarium. Although it’s only slightly elevated, the view from the bridge transforms dramatically, offering a spectacular panorama of the entire Garden Pier area, including the Antarctic observation ship “Fujisan,” the Nagoya Port Aquarium, and JETTY. To the south, you can see the expansive sea, as well as the Nagoya Port Bridge. At night, you can enjoy the illuminated Ferris wheel and other enchanting nighttime views, making it highly recommended to cross this bridge during the evening hours.
⑦Clockwork Clock
In the Karakuri Park in front of the Nagoya Port Aquarium, there is a Clockwork clock. If you’re lucky, you might encounter the moment when the Clockworki clock opens up.
⑧Port House(Free Resr Area)
The “Port House,” designed with the image of a spread-winged seagull, is a free rest area where anyone can take a break or enjoy their packed lunch in a relaxed atmosphere.
⑨Fuji Antarctic Museum
Experience a simulated journey to Antarctica at the Antarctic Museum, housed within the “Fujisan,” Japan’s first icebreaking ship that traversed between Japan and Antarctica for 18 years. Currently moored in Nagoya Port, the ship has been transformed into the Antarctic Museum, showcasing various aspects of Antarctic exploration.

Step back in time to the era when the “Fujisan” was in service
Each room onboard the ship remains as it was during its active years. From the dining hall, kitchen, and medical room to the crew’s quarters, visitors can gain insights into daily life aboard the vessel. Original features such as the steering apparatus in the ship’s bridge are also preserved. In the Electric Propulsion System Theater, the unique structure and electric propulsion system of the icebreaker “Fujisan” are explained in an easy-to-understand manner.

Antarctic Museum
The helicopter hangar has been converted into exhibition space, showcasing the natural beauty of Antarctica, the history of exploration, and life at Antarctic research stations through photographs and videos. In the Dramatic Antarctic Theater, visitors can experience immersive visuals on four large screens, providing a realistic sensation of being aboard the “Fujisan” or in Antarctica itself.

⑩Park
Overlooking the “Fujisan Square,” which resembles the shape of the Antarctic continent, visitors can find exhibits such as the propeller, main shaft, and snow vehicles used by the actual “Fujisan.” Bronze statues of “Taro” and “Jiro,” sled dogs that played active roles in Antarctic observation and wintering expeditions, are also featured.
⑪Cruise Terminal
Regular cruise service “Cruise Nagoya” that tours the city center of Nagoya and Nagoya Port. From the calm waters of the Nagara River, you can enjoy panoramic views of Nagoya Station’s skyscrapers at the “Sasashima Live 24 District” and experience a mini version of the Panama Canal at the “Nagakawa Exit Gate,” as well as the nostalgic warehouses and the bustling traffic of large ships at Nagoya Port. You can also conveniently access popular spots in Nagoya such as LEGOLAND® Japan and the Nagoya Port Aquarium by boat.

⑫Nagoya Maritime Museum
The maritime museum located on the 3rd and 4th floors of the iconic Port Building at Garden Pier.
On the 3rd floor, explore the theme of “Nagoya Port: Japan’s Premier International Trading Hub,” which introduces the port’s role, its connection with people’s lives, and the history of Nagoya Port in an easy-to-understand manner. Experience the port’s atmosphere with real exhibits, panoramic models, and simulators, making learning about “Sea, Ships, and Ports” enjoyable.
The 4th-floor exhibition room showcases models of sailboats from the Age of Exploration and trade goods from the Maritime Silk Road, presenting the history of the sea and its interaction with people.
Experience operating ships and cranes with realistic simulators! Navigate ships in a full-fledged ship simulator with computer-generated graphics (CG) that realistically recreate Nagoya Port, including evening and nighttime views and various weather conditions. The Gantry Crane Simulator offers a game-like experience of operating the key player in container handling.
Challenge yourself with Q&A games and quizzes to learn about the sea and ports while having fun.
⑬Green Park
It’s a green square adjacent to the port.
Located near the sea, this venue offers a refreshing experience with sea breezes and passing ships, making it particularly enjoyable on sunny days. You can spread out a picnic while gazing at the sea, or take a tour of the neighboring Port Building and the Antarctic observation ship, Fuji. There’s also a restaurant on the second floor of the Port Building. It’s a great place for a leisurely stroll with the sea breeze.
While it’s usually a quiet venue, its prime location and spacious park allow for various events and performances to be held on the stage.
